Where to Use?
Where high flow volumes and load ratings are important!
Generally for drainage in trade waste, civil, sewer, stormwater and food processing applications, the KG2000 range is available in 110, 160, 200, 250, 315, 400, 500 and 630mm pipe diameters with injection moulded connecting fittings such as bends and junctions available in all sizes.
Trade waste pipes are fittings are typically used in commercial kitchens for hot water drainage, abattoirs and dairies for hot water discharge, cleaning chemicals and blood lines, beverage processing such as breweries for hot water discharge and cleaning chemicals, manufacturing and maintenance workshops for chemicals, fuels and oils. Whatever your usage, the AusPress KG2000 trade waste and civil piping system will offer a fast, economical, long lasting and easy to install solution with a design life in excess of 50 years.
With a wide resistance to chemicals including oil & fuels, polypropylene also has a low expansion coefficient. We recommend checking for product suitability before specifying or installing – we can help checking chemicals and such, just ask!
It's All In The Design
The KG2000 system of pipe and fittings is designed with a high SN10 load rating as standard and SN16 upon request, with the benefits of lightweight polypropylene and speed of push-fit installation.
Using a socket and spigot design, each join is pre-fitted with a temperature rated SBR rubber ring seal (or NBR for a wider range of oils and chemicals) with the system suitable for continuous temperatures up to 90°C and waters containing oil contaminants.
Lengths are cut-to-length on site using standard fine-tooth hand or electric saw with polypropylene suitable for in ground installation, suspended drainage or embedding in concrete (such as sewer chambers).
Products in this range are adaptable to all other materials, reusable and reliable with pipe and fittings certified by and listed with WaterMark – see our approvals page for more information.
